2023 (China) Asia-Europe Commodity Trade Expo opened

On August 17, the 2023 (China) Asia-Europe Commodity Trade Expo opened in Urumqi, Xinjiang, with a duration of 5 days, with more than 1,300 Chinese and foreign enterprises participating in the exhibition.

This year's trade fair will set up 70,000 square meters of booths, including three exhibition areas: investment cooperation exhibition area, imported commodity exhibition area and commodity trade exhibition area. The commodity trade exhibition area includes six exhibition themes, including energy industry, smart life, cultural tourism industry, digitalization, textiles and clothing, attracting merchants from Beijing, Shaanxi, Harbin and other provinces, autonomous regions and cities to participate in the exhibition.

"It was my first time to participate in the business fair in Xinjiang, and I came here to find partners and expand the Xinjiang market." Gao Zhongqing, head of Lebao Toys Co., Ltd. from Taiwan, said.

In addition, this year's trade fair was attended by 40 countries and regions and 7 international organizations from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which is the most complete exhibition of Xinjiang's neighboring countries. During the conference, 33 domestic and foreign trade and investment promotion activities such as promotion and exhibition, industrial matchmaking, and supply and demand matching will also be held.
