On August 28th, the press conference of the 14th China Henan International Investment and Trade Fair was held in Beijing. The conference focused on introducing the overall activities, characteristics, highlights, and other related information of the 14th Henan International Investment and Trade Fair, and answering questions from reporters.

Time: September 26th to 28th, held in Zhengzhou

At the press conference, Wang Zhenli, Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the CIFIT and Director of the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, introduced that the 14th China Henan International Investment and Trade Fair will be held in Zhengzhou from September 26 to 28, 2023. The Henan Investment and Trade Fair is the largest, highest specification, and most influential international economic and trade event in Henan Province. It has been successfully held for thirteen sessions, attracting numerous domestic and foreign guests to participate, and signing a large number of good projects with strong driving capabilities. It has become a "golden signboard" for Henan Province's opening-up and investment attraction.

The conference is jointly organized by the People's Government of Henan Province, the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. It is jointly organized by the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Henan Provincial Government, the Henan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Zhengzhou Municipal Government, and the China Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises. Positioning: A highly distinctive and influential investment and trade platform in the central region

As an important window for the opening up of the central region, the Henan Investment and Trade Fair has gradually grown into a highly distinctive and influential investment and trade platform in the central region. "Liu Dianxun, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, stated in a statement that at this year's fair, important activities of cross-border industry platforms have been introduced and an international conference on investment and financing cooperation in emerging industries is planned to be held. The conference focuses on the development of investment and financing in emerging industries, with the theme of "New Energy, New Opportunities, and New Central Plains", and the vision of assisting in the upgrading of urban industrial economy. The aim is to build a global cooperation and exchange platform in the field of investment and financing in emerging industries in Central Plains. Looking forward to gathering with guests from all walks of life at the Henan Investment and Trade Fair to share new development opportunities.

Arrangement: Exciting linkage of opening ceremony, summit forum, guest of honor country and other activities

The theme of this year's CIFIT is "open cooperation and win-win results, and the Central Plains is more outstanding". We adhere to two-way openness, equal emphasis on investment and trade, and highlight internationalization, high-end, and precision. During this period, we will hold high-end forums, special promotions, industry docking, exhibitions, and other activities. The main arrangements are:

（1） Opening Ceremony and Opening Summit Forum. On the morning of September 26, 2023, it will be held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. It is planned to invite the organizers of the conference, leaders of the host country (theme province) delegation, as well as well-known entrepreneurs and expert representatives, to deliver speeches and speeches. Before the opening ceremony, leaders and important guests are invited to tour the museum. At the opening ceremony, a signing ceremony for major cooperation projects will be held.

（2） Major events. They are: International Emerging Industry Investment and Financing Cooperation Conference, International Big Health Innovation Investment Conference, and the Third Zhengzhou Food Expo.

（3） Host Country and Theme Province Activities. We plan to invite 1-2 countries as guest of honor, and 1-2 domestic and foreign provincial-level administrative regions as theme provinces to hold events such as the opening ceremony of guest of honor and economic and trade exchanges between guest of honor countries (theme provinces).

（4） Special event. They are: the Third "the Belt and Road" Innovation Cooperation and Development Conference of Overseas Chinese Groups in Henan Province, the Forum on Multimodal Transport Hub Economic Development, the Forum on International Industrial Cooperation, the China (Henan) International Energy saving and Environmental Protection Equipment Industry Chain Production and Marketing Matchmaking Expo, the New Energy Automobile Industry Chain High Quality Development Forum, and the Modern Logistics and Supply Chain Summit Forum.

While organizing the above activities well, we encourage various cities and counties in Henan to hold special industry docking activities, and support other provinces, regions, cities, domestic and foreign institutions to use the CIFIT platform to organize investment promotion, trade docking, project cooperation, and other activities.

Preparation: We plan to invite about 2500 important guests and hundreds of enterprises to participate in the exhibition

In terms of customer invitation, we adhere to the principle of size following quality, and have developed a work plan for inviting merchants and guest hospitality. We plan to invite around 2500 important guests.

In terms of project preparation, we will extensively solicit and select investment projects, and publish them in batches on the websites of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Provincial Investment Promotion Network, and Henan Investment and Trade Fair. We will actively organize online and offline matchmaking and docking, and will choose mature cooperation projects to sign contracts on site.

In terms of exhibition and display, the indoor and outdoor exhibition area is about 80000 square meters, focusing on key countries, advantageous industries, and characteristic products, highlighting industries such as the digital economy, advanced manufacturing, and new energy vehicles. A comprehensive exhibition area and six professional exhibition areas, including advanced manufacturing, new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, imported goods, modern logistics, food and agricultural products, cross-border e-commerce, and e-commerce live streaming, are set up, inviting Germany, New Zealand, South Korea, Russia Vietnam, Cambodia, and other countries have set up national pavilions. Over a hundred companies have preliminarily booked booths in the professional exhibition area, and over 300 companies have expressed their intention to participate. Multinational companies and well-known enterprises such as Siemens, Tesla, Huawei, BYD, COFCO Group, Luxembourg Cargo Airlines, etc. will participate in the exhibition.
